Quality Policy

The policy of MEKEL and the fundamental principle and commitment of its management is to provide high-quality products and services, always ensuring the complete satisfaction of customer requirements and those of other interested parties regarding the quality and safety of its services, within a healthy and safe environment for all employees, visitors, and stakeholders.

To achieve the above, the company's management has adopted a Quality Management System in accordance with the International Standard ISO 9001:2015, which is implemented across the entire company and in all its activities.

The company's scope of application includes the "Design, Construction, Trade, Installation, Operation, Maintenance, and Repair of Water treatment units, rainwater systems, liquid and solid waste treatment facilities, and pumping stations."

The company's ambition and commitment are the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Management System it applies, focusing on:

  • Reviewing and continuously improving the characteristics of its products/services, where feasible, as well as the effectiveness of its processes and, consequently, the entire Management System.
  • Defining measurable quality objectives at the corporate level, at the operational level of departments and/or processes, and concerning products and provided services. Evaluating these objectives in terms of achievement as part of the Management System Review by the company's Top Management.
  • Identifying external and internal parameters that define the organization's operating framework, which is updated and revised to address business risks and seize opportunities, taking necessary measures where required.
  • Allocating resources to ensure suitable infrastructure and the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of each company department.
  • Fully satisfying customer expectations and requirements.
  • Providing safe and consistently high-quality products and services.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of its personnel and customers through risk assessment and the implementation of preventive control measures.
  • Encouraging, continuously training, informing, and educating employees to promote Quality and Safety in every activity and to develop a culture and appropriate behavior regarding Health & Safety.
  • Keeping up to date and striving to meet the requirements of applicable legal regulations, directives, and standards.
  • Complying with EU and Cypriot legislation.
