New Project: Supply, Installation, and Maintenance of an Activated Carbon Filtration System at the Asprokremmos Water Treatment Plant

MEKEL has commenced the implementation of Contract TAY 33/2023 on behalf of the Water Development Department.

This project plays a key role in improving water quality, with the following primary objectives:

Public Health Protection, by ensuring safe and high-quality drinking water for all.

Pollutant Removal, as the activated carbon filtration system neutralizes organic contaminants and other harmful substances.

Improved Taste and Odor, enhancing the overall quality of the water supplied.

Sustainability, through environmentally friendly technologies that extend the operational lifespan of the treatment plant.

Scope of Work:

Design, supply, and electromechanical installation

Construction of a steel building

Performance guarantee and maintenance of the Activated Carbon Filtration System

Testing and commissioning of the unit
