Design, build and operate of the Athienou sewage treatment plant, sewage pumping stations and associated works. The works deliver tertiary treated water suitable for unrestricted irrigation.  The applied process is the Integrated Fixed-film Activated Sludge (IFAS) with Moving Bed Biological Reactor (MBBR) followed by filtration which is characterized by its low footprint requirements, high purification efficiency and robustness.  The plant also employs a Photovoltaic (PV) solar system thereby contributing to the usage of energy from alternative sources.  All process by-products such as excess sludge and odours are treated and disposed with modern methods friendly to the environment.
